I am feeling kind of discouraged today....I lost 2lbs only to gain 4lbs since Jan 2. I am embarassed to even record it. I think I am trying to make too many big changes all at once, and I can't do it so....I am going to change my strategy and make small changes daily and keep a food journal(I was keeping one but I don't always have time to write in it). I feel like a failure and I don't like that feeling so I have to set myself up to succeed. I think if I take small steps one day at a time I will then change my habits, too. I started a new job and that is a main focus right now, too....I'm in training and it takes up a lot of my time so I don't have time to cook. I'm going to look for convenience foods that will stay within the South Beach diets Phase one limits! I know they have some frozen dinners to choose from.
I just have to rethink and restart and I'm back on track! I am determined to do this, I just don't think I was using the right approach for my lifestlye. Here I go again............

I am sorry to say I have not lost any weight over the holidays......I even went on vacation to Orlando Florida. Stayed the same and then I gained a few pounds back and now I'm back to 203lbs I'm thinking of switching to a diet with more carbs in it. I'm getting sick of even looking at protiens. Sorry I'm just whinning a little today! Protien fills me up but I still want something sweet sometimes. I'm just being honest and I don't know what to do. Chocolate is my downfall! Maybe I could invent a chocolate covered steak!....lol I will keep trying I won't give up! kayless but I'm really not kayless yet just Kay

Did ok but I do find the South Beach diet very hard to follow since I am not a big protein fan and I did slip up a few times....need more willpower!

I'm doing ok but having a rough time keeping myself from late afternoon snacking. Have given in on a few occasions and I know I have to stop that now. Have to get on a better exercise routine, too. One day I do it and the next day I can't seem to find the time. I've got to try a lot harder to make the time, I guess!! I'm not even sure I want to weigh in this week. I really don't want to know or to feel the disappointment if I have failed. kayless
