Colon Hydrotherapy/Colonics
I have had a few colonics. it doesn't hurt at all...it's a bit uncomfortable when you are in the process bc it feels like "you have to go" but the thing is you don't have to move anywhere LOL sorry TMI. as far as the benefits of it, i've read the literature at the place i get them done at and there is absolutely nothing wrong. It's better than taking laxatives. I recommend it, however if you want to do it to lose weight, it's not really meant for that. I'm pretty sure you know that. If anything it will make your colon "work" slowly back to normal. It definitely made my skin look better and i don't bloat anymore!

I odn't know that you can drink any type of milk during Atkins. It does have carbs. I am a coffee lover myself, and if i think i've found a really good alternative to starbucks! You buy sugar free creamer, and depending on the state you live in, try to find a Henry's (health food store in Ca.) or go to Target and buy a Sugar Free Syrup (made by target) they have all kinds of flavors: caramel, french vanilla... Walmart has them as well and the brand is Torani: SF chocolate,Raspberry, French Vanilla, Hazelnut...etc. THey all have ZERO calories and 0 Carbs.... Hope this helps! Smile

Low Carb - 5 pounds club?
Hi all! im new at the site (not new to dieting). I am very strict with my diet but since january I have been gaining weight without a change in my diet (?). My usual weight is 118 and today i guess i've been teh highest i've been in a few years (123). I go up and down three pounds but then it goes back up...I don't know what i need to do anymore, (i'll switch between atkisn and scarsdale) but today i decided to stick to atkins and focus i guess? does anybody want to start a group with 5 pounds to lose?.... I weigh in every monday morning and i need some motivation and support from other people in my same situation. Please reply if anybody is interested.
