Pregnant and overweight
You can absolutely do almost everything you are doing now throughout your pregnancy. I ran until my 9th month. I even jogged the day before delivering my 3rd child. Watch weight lifting after your third month is questionable. Your ligaments and body does start changing. Talk with a trainer and your doctor, that's what I did, and they can modify your exercises for your pregnancy. Good luck and wishing you a healthy baby and mommy!

Running?
I too am a runner and serious gym rat. I could do cardio for an hour to an hour and a half before starting Atkins. I joined Atkins because I felt I was eating less and working out more without any results.
I found that I didn't have the energy at all to sustain a workout like that during induction. I have been doing Atkins now for 5 weeks and my stamina is finally coming back. What has also helped is that I am drinking chicken broth for the salt intake. It has helped tremendously! Good Luck!
