Yup, I use Instagram to make my food look better than it is haha - it’s not bad to begin with but when I use (usually the lofi) filters, it just looks so much better. In my mind, it tastes even better right?

On May 8 2018 I weighed 296lbs and was too ashamed to take a picture. On May 25 I weighed 285. Immediate changes to my diet coupled with very light exercises for two weeks got me started. Today marks the beginning of week 7 of change. Remember why

Along with the 1.6lbs lost this past week, I also note that body fat percentage has also reduced by a full percentage point this week from 37.9% down to 36.9%.

Slower week with a pulled muscle in my lower back restricted me to light cardio and a few days travelling for work set my eating off a little bit. But progress is progress and apparently I’ve been losing weight fast for five weeks, slowing it down to a healthy rate should make me feel better about it right?

SFG - tuna salad made with avocado instead of mayo, some cilantro, lemon juice, chopped cucumber, and fresh ground pepper to taste with a tiny slice of cheese wrapped in crispy romaine lettuce
