Hubby returned home - I was bad - drank wine, had ice cream (low carb) for dessert, got to get back on track. Discovered flaxseed meal for breakfast - not too bad, made a cereal mixed with water and microwaved. Mixed in cheese and ham, might try something sweet tomorrow. Will see how I react to so much fiber. Taking daughter to doctor today - long ride(1.5 hours)picking her up at school and heading north. Will pack a salad to eat on the way.

End of week one (almost). So far I'm ok with induction as I can eat the foods I like - meat, veggies, salad, soup etc.. Getting to exercise a lttle more regularly since shoulder surgery. Even did a couple of yoga classes. Hoping as weather improves, can get out and do more. Can't wait to get into the garden.

Hubby just left on a business trip for a week - I can concentrate on eating for myself and not cooking for him! Looking forward to starting the challenge tomorrow - will put down my measurements (if I can find a tape measure).

Just found this website looking for low carb recipes. It looks like it has a lot of good tools and groups to help me lose weight. I would dearly love to wear a two pc bathing suit again (its been a while). Turning 50 will not make it any easier to lose 15 pounds (and keep it off) but here goes.
