i've been diagnosed with hyperthyroid and very low vitamin D. i'll hopefully be starting treatment soon and back to my old self. it will be nice to exercise again and feel rested about 8-9hrs of sleep (no amount of sleep does it for me). on a side note, i dropped a few pounds from stomach flu last week, but on the whole, haven't had much weight loss (one of the symptoms of the condition).

I'm back at it. Time to put the past behind me and take control of my eating. It's not easy, this is officially day 2 of "reduced carb" and I've been logging my food intake on www.thedailyplate.com (through the livestrong link), so it's a start!

in less than two weeks, i'll have been officially separated for about 4months. i'm not surprised that i've gained so much weight, but it's the least of my stressors right now. my responsibilities at work are soon to be doubling as well. it might be good to get my mind focused on something else for a while, but i generally like to confront a problem so it doesn't stress me out later. only time will tell how this all works out.
