I did something to be proud of!
So, yesterday after dinner I felt kind of off my diet. I knew that I'm just craving for those Oreo cookies "just because". So, I went to CVS because I knew they were on sale there - just $ 0.99 whole pack (6 servings) or Oreo cookies. Great deal, huh?! Anyways, I walk into CVS and look onto nutrition facts and realize that only 2 cookies are 140 calories! I could eat so many fruits for those calories (without feeling guilty after that). So, I stare at that package and remember how hard it was for me to, instead of taking a nap, go to the gym and workout and my desire left me. Just like that!
I'm kind of proud of myself for recognizing just craving when I'm craving them "just because". I knew, I wasn't hungry because I just had good dinner and 2 fruits after. So, instead of those cookies, I got back in the car (just to get out of that environment, lol) and took "mint chocolate chip 5 calorie gum" instead. and my craving were long gone :)
I woke up this morning and felt that I'm still craving for that chocolately taste, so instead of eating something bad, I added rice protein with chocolate taste to my oatmeal. And guess what, yes, my cravings are gone :)

FINALLY!!!
I'm out! I'm officially OUT of 150's!
I stepped on a scale yesterday and felt SOOOO surprised (but in a good way, of course) :)
Why surprised? Because I just came back from my vacation and I spend it with people who think that being a vegan is some kind of wayward behavior. Funny thing is that I tried DQ, since there is no DQ in New York, I decided to allow myself to quit being vegan for one evening and indulge (I mean, mint chocolate chip blizzard is hard to resist, lol). But guess what, I guess, my body is so used to (even after almost 4 months) not to have dairy in my system, that I was so sick whole night. I haven't had such stomach aches for very long time. Any ideas? I think, dairy is definitely off my menu, even if it's DQ blizzard. (Sorry DQ!!!)
So, anyways, I'm in 140's and it makes me so happy! And now I'm even more motivated to stay in 140's and get out of them within next 2 months. My next vacation (not as long though) is by the end of May, so, I want to look even better and I want that people whom I saw this past week, will notice changes and maybe they'll realize that being a vegan isn't just some stupid idea on my mind!!

Yupi!

One thing I hate about losing weight is that, the lighter you are, the less you will lose. when I was in mid 160's, dropping 2 lbs a week was not that hard, just watch more closely what to eat and stick in little bit longer workout. But now, I'm happy if I lose 0.5 lbs a week. Not sure whether it is because of changing my workout regime (completely) or that I eat (or at least try to) 1500 kcal a day.
Anyways, my, long-waited vacation started today. And on Sunday I'm leaving to Cleveland, to visit all my friends and family, since I used to live there. I know, I should have chose different kind of vacation with sun and warm weather but I decided that seeing my friends, whom I haven't seen in over 5 months, is more important than having a beautiful tan. And I'm not ready for beach season anyway. LOL. But I know that by this summer I will be. Now, I must be honest, I am little bit concerned and maybe even worried that during my vacation I might fall off the wagon because I'm staying with my friend who's not too healthy eater. But I know, I can do it and maybe, if I'll show him how much better you can feel when you're eating healthy stuff, he'll start to eat healthier too. I know, I'm not gonna change his eating patterns in 1 week but as long as I can stick to my plans and not to gain weight, I'll be more than happy :)
