Last night i drank water instead of eating chips in front of the tv.

Well, I basically stayed the same and maybe even lost a half pound or so over the day.
I need to stay motivated and focused. I can't forget about it and go overboard. Tomorrow will be hard because I have a dinner to go to. It is so hard when the food is right there. Plus, it is so late that I will be really hungry.

I just keep gaining. Back when I was 17, I put my mind to it and lost almost 30 pounds. I kept a reasonable weight for the next 20 years. Then I had the kids, then menopause, then a high stress job and no matter what, I can't get it off.
I need to go back to the mindset I had when I was young. I was so determined that nothing was going to derail me. I stayed with it, never faltering. I was mad about being heavy, especially as a teenager. I need to get that motivation back.
