I'm a 45 year old guy married to my high school sweetheart. We have 3 kids and I have a pretty busy and stressful job. Over the years, I've been increasingly interested in losing some weight, but my excuses have always outweighed my initiative to get anything done. I'm going to give Atkins a fair shake and see what I can learn about this process. I'm thinking in terms of a project rather than a diet. There's a lot of science behind the metabolic processes that drive the Atkins lifestyle, and that intrigues me.
We'll see. I'm a habitual quitter with both exercise and diet, so this won't be easy.
