I'm Dan, I'm in the Navy and have been for the last 10 years. Now that I'm 30 I've noticed that the weight just doesn't fall off like it used to. So looks like I'm going to need to actually diet and exercise. I guess everyone was right who said it's the best way to keep the weight off. My method of just eating less hasn't seemed to work. Anyhow, I am the father of 3 gorgeous kids, Madison, 2, Mackenzie, 2 and Matthew 6 months. My wife is a huge factor in my support system and pushes me to always strive for better. I'm here to find people like me who are really looking to drop some weight and keep it off.

Hiya laughing, congrats on the weight loss!! I'm in the Navy and need to get down to 221 before Sept. so I've been running at least 2 miles a day 3 times a week. I just need some extra motivation and someone who is also into losing the weight they want to just for support. I''m Dan btw. So my biggest issue is the weekends where I tend to fall of the wagon so to speak and eat and eat and eat. Do you know of any good breakfast recipes from here that delicious?

resting vs sitting
Can anyone tell me the difference from sitting, desk work and resting as far as exercise is concerned for detereming calories burned?!

H2O, is it worth it?
So I've done weeks where I drink so much water I can feel my eyeballs floating, and then there are weeks I hardly drink any water at all. I never see a huge change in fluctuation of my weight, so I guess it's not worth it for me...your thoughts?Question
