i am a 44 yr old female who has a lot of weight to lose. i am married and he doesnt make wise food choices and doesnt always get me what i want or need to eat healthy so i do the best i can with what i have. so far i have lost the total of 17 lbs. i have many many more to go (like 67 maybe more). TBL has really opened my eyes to my eating habits, and i try to see how many lbs i can lose in the week that its not on. when they weigh in, i weigh in.tha past 2 weeks i have been stable. no gains, no losses so thats a good thing. i wish i had access to a personal trainer & gym.

newbie here
thanks. in a couple months i am going to try getting some dumbells and a pedometer, mat and ankle weights etc. i want so much stuff that i dont have now. and at this time as we speak, i am awaiting richard simmons dvd set of 5 discs. it should be here by monday. i lost 58 lbs with that long time ago. then when i lost the dvd, i never excercised again. just in the last 4 yrs, i gained 55 lbs. i just dont get out and mingle as i used to.

low excercise level
i am not hungry on my 1200 calorie diet. but i did up it to 1500. some days i have trouble hitting that much. i mean i can eat more if its bad food (like pizza and burgers from fast food places) but in good foods, i have trouble eating that much sometimes. i will see what i can do to work on this and see what works for me.

low excercise level
if i only burn say.... 500 cals a day (other then normal daily activities) does that mean i should only eat 400 cals? i am not losing much weight by eating 1200 cals and only burning off just a few.

newbie here
i think i may of posted this in the wrong place....but i posted out there somewhere. anyways, i am new to this site as of tonight. i am in dire need of motivational encouragement at this time. i start excercising then i just give up. i lost weight when i was walking and doing things but then i stopped but managed to maintain my weight. i had a couple fluctuations (i gained 5 lbs but then in turn took it off again) and now i am stuck. its because i dont walk as much as i was. i have got 67 lbs i need to lose. from there, i may add another 10 that i may want to lose. i think actually i would be very proud and happy being an even 200 but i will go farther. i want to be sexy again, not just feeling good. i want to BE good and sexy. my main, tru and very real concern is all the flab i may have hanging after i lose this weight. i will have lost close to 85 lbs when i am done.
