It does not look like I made progress this month (I only lost a minuscule amount) but my weight jumped up and I managed to get my eating habits back in line. My husband has a lot of health conditions and is 70 years old so our life is pretty restricted and isolated at this time. The pull to eat for entertainment and comfort is strong. So a tiny bit of weight loss is a victory for me! I have been eating lots of fresh vegetables and a couple of pieces of fruit every day and watching portions. So all in all good progress.

losing 0.1 lb a week

I had gained 12 pounds since last summer (at my Feb 2020 weigh in) and now I see I have packed on an additional 17 pounds during the COVID-19 pandemic. Very disappointed but it is to be expected given the fact that I allowed drinking wine back into my life. I have cut out alcohol and re-introduced healthier eating. I need to trim my calories now to get back into the weight loss mode. Was as high as 177 the other day, 174.2 today. As I lose on average about a pound a week, it will take me over 7 months (February 2021) to get down to my goal. I retire in March 2021 so it would be very nice to be at my fighting weight then!
