Did a lot of outside work today, was a nice day and overturned some grass for a garden I am getting ready to plant. Then when that was done, we as in I an Jon decided to rearrange the living room. ARG. that was another 4 hours. lol, all good tho. Boy, my pain was a pounding when done, now it's relaxing to just reflect on the day, Was a good day and so it seems I got myself hooked on smoked salmon. Haha, well could not be a better choice of no carbs. So I have outfits and a swimsuit that I can not fit into yet, but believe me. I am going to get there and that is my short-term goal. Not too far off.

So now I am realizing how much carbs are in a meal or even half a sandwich. I do like smoked salmon, has no carbs. YUM. I am looking at all carbs now and when I was first diagnosed with being a diabetic, I was not sure on what to change in my diet. lol, or I should say healthier lifestyle. I actually was watching my sugar intake when I was learned to watch the carb, that is both the sugar and carb combined. Wow. How much easier it is to fit in the carb one needs per day, I also noticed I am staying around the 2000 cal intake and still dropping the pounds. Good. I am not much into sweets, more of the good taste of home cooking, and if I do feel like slipping a piece of chocolate in I make sure it's in the snack carb amount.

Just for kickers woke up and decided to see if there was any weight loss. Not bad, two pounds. I am happy to be able to finally lose weight. Seem my low thyroid was a major problem for a while, got all that under control. So close to being able to wear the swimsuit I bought last year, I ballooned up to 267 then dropped 10 pd in one month. Now I am slowing on the downside. So next it to be able to get back to the YMCA to do my workouts.
