I've been following the diet pretty well. I've been diligently tracking calories, weighing in daily, and watching portion control. I've also been trying to cut back or eliminate between meal snacking, and trying to avoid sweet snacks and junkfood as much as possible. Also trying not to eat too many empty carbs with meals (within reason).
I'm pleased with my progress.

My doctor put me on Phentermine last Tuesday to curb my appetite and try to reduce my late night snacking on junk food. Over the past week I have noticed a huge difference in appetite and cravings. I have not craved junk food, I have been satisfied with reasonable portions of food with meals, and my between meal snacking has been minimal. The prescription is intended to be a short term tool to see progress and "jump start" my weight loss journey.
I told him I feel like my overeating, and bad eating, may be tied to deeper rooted mental or emotional issues, because I've lost weigh before and have been at a much more comfortable size, so I don't understand why I have such a problem with will power. Regardless, I hope I can take the weight off and keep it off because I want to be the best version of myself for my family.
