Still going down. I think my TOM is approaching so I'm not going to pick on myself if my weight drop slows for a week. That wouldn't be fair. :) Tonight I just had a smoothie. I'm a little hungry right now so I'm trying to find something light to snack on. Perhaps frozen blueberries. It's as close to a dessert as I'm going to get right now. I ordered a vitamix and it should be here in a week or so. I look forward to everything that I can make once it arrives.

I feel amazing! I just feel like I have a lot more energy today. I also feel well rested minus a really weird dream/nightmare I had last night. This week I'm going to dedicate myself to yoga every day and getting in bed by 9pm at the very latest.
Last night was really hard. I was babysitting two little girls and I made us popcorn my way which was nice. They seemed to like it. Then I gave them some of the dark chocolate covered acai snacks my husband has. It was so hard to resist but I managed to do it. I really need a dessert. Hopefully soon. I'm still digging through recipes to find something but again, with such heavy restrictions I think I'm more likely to give up and stop caring than I am to find something. Then again, you can do a lot with fruit.
I feel really postive today and I feel like I've gotten a lot accomplished. I had a massage this morning which was a really nice treat. Then I cleaned off the deck, cleaned off my desk (disaster zone!) and I'm working through laundry.
Time for lunch. I'm starving! I made a corn chowder something last night by blending corn and rice milk to make a creamy base and then I put in more corn and heated it on the stove and poured it over jasmine rice when it was done. It was really good. As I can have more veggies I think I will modify it to include them.

Slow and steady wins the race. I'm going to attempt to make a corn chowder tonight. I added in tea this morning and that was really nice. I feel fantastic. I'm in a better mood and I have more energy. I'm not going to say I have the desire to run a marathon or anything like that but I definitely don't have a desire to sleep or take a nap. I actually get hungry too, instead of just getting to the point where I eat based on the time. Now I'm actually remembering to eat because I'm hungry! What a novel concept. Checking in every day has also been really helpful for me.
The one thing I miss is a dessert. I'm sure that when I have the option of eating more things and gain more experience cooking and finding recipes, I'll find a dessert item. I guess it isn't hurting me to not have a dessert item right now. Still, it would be nice to have a small snack that is dessert style, instead of ... well whatever the hell rice cake or salted popcorn style is.

I made it to day 5! I get to add in new foods every 12 to 24 hours now from my phase 2 food list. I chose leeks. I think technically I was supposed to wait until tomorrow but I was so excited to even find a leek and figure out how to use it with everything else, I couldn't wait.
Tonight I stir fried lima beans, corn, zucchini, asparagus, leeks, and quinoa. I added a little salt and pepper and I have to admit, I really like this. Then again, I think I would like anything different. :) It was really easy to whip up a huge batch too so I can freeze some and eat some tomorrow for left overs.
I'm not sure what to choose next from the list. Lettuce and carrots are both next and I am looking forward to them. A nice salad would be great. (I never thought I would be excited for a salad). I am also looking for some corn chowder recipes and I think my book on raw foods should have a recipe I can use.
I'm not losing very much weight each day but the scale is going down and more importantly, I am feeling better! Yesterday and today I woke up with no headaches. I also feel like I'm less stuffed up in the mornings. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I did not wake up with a headache today. This is definitely progress. I've only gone down .2 lbs but I'm hopeful that soon I'll start to drop more weight, especially if I have increased energy. I want to start doing yoga, hopefully by next Monday. I am definitely looking forward to Saturday! I get to add more foods to my diet. With lettuce and carrots added in, I can at least eat salads. I never thought I would be so excited for salads. :)
