I made it to day 5! I get to add in new foods every 12 to 24 hours now from my phase 2 food list. I chose leeks. I think technically I was supposed to wait until tomorrow but I was so excited to even find a leek and figure out how to use it with everything else, I couldn't wait. Tonight I stir fried lima beans, corn, zucchini, asparagus, leeks, and quinoa. I added a little salt and pepper and I have to admit, I really like this. Then again, I think I would like anything different. :) It was really easy to whip up a huge batch too so I can freeze some and eat some tomorrow for left overs. I'm not sure what to choose next from the list. Lettuce and carrots are both next and I am looking forward to them. A nice salad would be great. (I never thought I would be excited for a salad). I am also looking for some corn chowder recipes and I think my book on raw foods should have a recipe I can use. I'm not losing very much weight each day but the scale is going down and more importantly, I am feeling better! Yesterday and today I woke up with no headaches. I also feel like I'm less stuffed up in the mornings. Keeping my fingers crossed.
