Running?
K8yk, thanks so much for saying that! Sorry I didn't answer earlier, but I was on vacation. You're right, I stopped atkins and immediately felt 100% better. Yesterday I ran 4 miles, no problem. I stayed true to atkins for 3 weeks and gave it my best shot, but I just think there's something inherently wrong with a diet that makes you feel crappy all the time, only have a bowel movement if you pound 1/4 cup of psyllium a day and are eternally grumpy! Someone said it can take up to six weeks before you feel better, but that's just too much for me.

So now I'm doing just what you suggested and watching bad carbs, logging my foods here on this fabulous site, running every other day and hoping to shed some pounds! Film at 11!

Thanks again, k8yk!

Running?
Thanks everyone. I did decide to listen to my body and not run, I just wasn't sure if I was going to start feeling any better or if this is how you feel on atkins. I hadn't heard the six week thing, karbear, thanks I feel better knowing it may take some more time.

Mawbelle, when you say good calories, what do you mean?

Running?
I'm a runner who has always carbed up before a run, but now that I've been on Atkins induction for three weeks, I just don't seem to have the extra energy to go on a run.

My usual run is about 4-5 miles, but now I just poop out at about mile 2. I've only lost 6.6 pounds, with about 10 lbs to go, and would really like to kick things up by running, but just don't seem to have the energy. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
