Well this weekend was definitely difficult. I knew it would be since my boyfriend was coming up to visit. But I was really proud of myself for not pigging out and vegging all weekend. I had saved up my weekly points for this weekend and I didn't even come close to using them up. We were going to go to Red Lobster, but after seeing how much fat (9g) was in one cheddar biscuit we decided to make our own seafood feast at home. I had grilled shrimp and scallops with zucchini and onions and we even made our own low-fat cheddar biscuits. They were only 3 grams of fat instead of 9! I think I can make this work and the first test will be on Wednesday when I weigh in. Does anyone have any tips for low point snacks?

Okay, so just finished official day 1 of weight watchers. Honestly, it was great! I didn't feel deprived at all, I drank lots of water and still had what I wanted, just focused on portion control. Hopefully all days are as easy as this. (My first test will be going out to dinner). Still working out, I love dancing and running with my Ipod on. Music just helps me in so many ways! I feel great, hopefully I can keep up the positive attitude!

Starting a new journey to better myself and my health. I've already lost 7 pounds in the last month just by exercising, but I feel like I could do better if learned about portion control and point values that weight watchers provides. This is a long road ahead but I am up for the challenge!!
