Starting fresh today after Thanksgiving and a few setbacks... Here we go again!

I did so well last week-I lost 2 pounds at our family beach trip with no denial of my favorite foods! I had a smore (only 1!), abelskeivers, puffed pancakes, ice cream, and other less healthy things, but I ate lots of healthy fruits and veggies, cut our extra carbs where possible, limited portion sizes, and exercised every day but one. Net result=2 pounds lost and a very proud mama!!! I know if I can lose weight during a week like that, I can lose weight at home so easily! And now I am excited because me hubby joined the cause. It will be nice to have an accountability partner! Here we go!

Having trouble keeping calories down since I LOVE food. I need to remember I LOVE being thin more than I love Cold Stone and other ice cream and cookies and brownies and chips and salsa and other empty calorie foods that give little to no nutrition. I need desperately to have a partner to help hold me accountable. I wish my husband would step up and do this with me. Built in partner, right??? There 90% of the time anyway!
I started out today well with Turbo Jam and a 2 mile walk with stroller, but had a couple slip ups with a picnic and a huge table of free goodies! Cookies and brownies are my weakness!
