Well, it’s the 20th and I have not had one piece of fruitcake!! I have not bought any, nor bought or made any desserts for this Holiday season!
This is a first!!
My family is for the most part going with me. My sis has shortbread cookies, and My son got his favorite oatmeal raisin. But I didn’t get even a cannoli!!
Come the 30th I will be married 45 years!!
Boy the years sure do fly by unless they are….
The last days of your pregnancy.
Or you are waiting for the day baby sleeps through the night
Or you wonder when the dentist will stop drilling or will he hit brain tissue?
Or you are waiting for test results you took weeks ago!!
Or you are exercising. One minute then is about
30 hours!! Maybe longer!!

Typical winter day in Georgia even though it’s not winter yet! Dark, cloudy, grey day.
I don’t care, my sister and I took our walk early! Since we can’t tell if it’s gonna spit rain or what!
Just nice to be home, no more doctors appointments for this week. 2 next week. Plus my vaccine. Glad I have none between Christmas and New Years.
People have gotten into all kinds of problems on the road. We hear the sirens from the main road near our home almost daily!! Not a usual occurrence.
This happened to us just a few weeks ago, we turned on our left turn light, and the straight traffic still on red came barreling into us!!
Folks are so stressed and tired they saw green and just reacted not thinking it was a green left turn arrow only. Scared my sis and me!! Got my blood pumping I can tell you!! Thank God not one soul was injured!! Be well FS Family!!

My blood test showed I am still low on protein.
The little kid in me says … oh yeah I’ll show you!!!
So I ate 4 thin slices of roast beef for dinner instead of the 2 I normally take. I did weigh them.
They didn’t weigh all that much I was guesstimating on the two slices thinking they were more than the 4 slices actually weighed!!
They looked big to me!! What do I know??
So the blood test was right and I should take the time to weigh because I think I am eating much more than I am!!
Never thought I would say that in my life!! It’s always the bigger the better!!
But I have been trying!!
December is hard, food everywhere! I watch Dr Now so much I feel like I have him on speed dial!!
It encourages me to see peoples successes!!
