Ok peeps. Been away for awhile doing my own thing (because I'm a spoiled brat) MY way is not working. I have been on relatively good behavior for the last week or so. Even going out I have stuck to meats and veggies! To be honest, I think I needed to go there in order to get to where I am today. (not that I have done anything dramatic) I am not making any promises for tomorrow, just that today I did good (except for the alkeemahol) which I polished off and don't plan on replenishing. I have started going back to the gym. Worked out with a trainer for about 10 minutes which put me in so much pain I took off the week from the gym. Yes it hurt me that bad!
I am not complaining, It has shown me just how out of shape I am. Atkins is not enough for
me
. I
HAVE
to incorporate a workout plan with my diet. After getting into the gym for a week I started feeling better. Not sure if it was a mental thing or an endorphine kind of thing but I was starting to enjoy it. I know I need a structured plan and that can cost some money... Oh wait, no it doesn't! Not if you know where to look. My boss turned me on to this site. Yes he's a bodybuilder but supports me and my plan. (Not many of them do) which gives him kudos from me! Ok (hope I don't get in trouble for posting this) www.bodybuilding.com which has everything from recipes to workout plans and everything in between. (Realize that this is not geared towards atkins so take what helps and leave the rest) I have taken what I need from it, came up with a good workout with exercises that are tolerable, if not enjoyable believe it or not. Now I am going to get back to it tomorrow now that my body has healed.
On a lighter note, I went to a concert last night (first true concert for me)and really enjoyed myself. I paid for it today and so did my wife. (I'm really sorry I put you through that Wendy) and was sooo tired today, but I plan on getting back into the gym tomorrow. Like I said earlier, I am not making any promises (which takes the stress out of commitment which allows me to commit if that makes any sense) I know I am rambling but alot has happened since I last logged on. Anywho, If anyone has any comments, concerns, advice, or anything else that can be left here, please do!

Had a really good day yesterday. Ate everything I wanted and got to spend some time with my 2nd family. I won't go into details on what I ate but that is why they are "special occasions" I will do it again for CHRISTmas. But for now I will get back to my diet and continue with my weightloss. I know my journals have realy ben all over the place but then so has my mind on what to do and not to do. Not by what the book says but by my feelings as what is acceptable and what is not. I have come to realize what I need to do to succeed.
That doesn't mean Wendy and I that means I as in singular form meaning me, so when you look at MY plan leave her out of it. What she does on here and how she works her program may not be the same as mine. So quit comparing US. Ok, I'm done venting......

this is a new way of life. Not a way of life without sweets but a way of life to have the things I love in a healthy way. If I were to try and cut them out(sweets) all together I would certainly be doomed. So I am learning a way to balance them. I know people "preach" about a clean induction but IF you looked at my intake you would see my numbeers are really good. My carbs are under 20 net my protein and calories are up. AND I am losing theweight and inches..I am not a "die hard" and don't plan to be one. I just simply want to lose a few pounds, feel a little better both inside and out, and most of all I want to be happy.
What is all this for if your not truly happy?
