In washington, the weather is definetly winter. Its cold and gloomy, but Im inside with my children warm and cozy. The only problem with that is I am constantly looking for food. I have to pull myself away from the cabinets and refridgerator. I love these lazy days, but they test my ability to say no.

I have realized that any unexpected stresses, make me eat more. We are painting our house back to the original color since we are moving out. We went to buy the paint today and it cost 70 dollars!! I wasnt expecting that, and I automatically went looking for food. Before I could pig out on all the snack food in my house, I calmed myself down and ate a bowl of special k cereal with skim milk. This is definitely a trigger for me, so i have to watch it.

I have to be very careful when eating out. Tonight at dinner, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, but it had cheese bacon and guacamole on it. I only at half of it and almost none of the cheese nad bacon, but I still had to record almost 500 calories for it. That didnt even include the small side salad that I had and the dressing. Fortunately I drank water so that didnt add to it. Resturant food can be so diseving! No excesice today but we shopped for a good two and a half to three hours. Tomorrow its either on the treadmill or to the gym! Oh yeah, I went to Old Navy today just to see what size pants I wear because my 18s are getting too big. When I put on the 16s, they fit perfectly!! They were even a little loose! I cant believe it. I havent worn a size 16 in over 7 years, and I am almost to a 14. YAY!!!!
