I have been doing general weight loss research on the internet. I have found a lot of suggestions.
I am trying to determine what is a good calorie intake for me as well as how many carbs I should have in the course of a day.
From what I have seen you should take your calorie count by figuring your weight X 100. Which means I would be able to intake 1360 calories during the day and lose a small amount of weight with just that as my baseline. My current average is just below 1200 per day, but it is not steady. I want to get myself on a more steady diet. Currently my average number itself is not bad, but according to my calendar, some days are way above and some days are way below. I am also going to start cooking at home more so that I can better control what I am eating vs just going with the healthiest cheap thing on the fast food menu.
I have no idea how to calculate how many carbs I should have yet. But I am still working on it and figuring this whole balance thing out.

In order to make progress losing weight, I have started keeping track of my WW pts. I am not on a steady WW diet, but I looked up the number I should have for my height and weight and all, and I should be getting about 23 pts per day. On average I am getting closer to 30 pts per day (unless I eat pizza, then it is in the low 40's).
Just another thing to keep my eye on as well as calorie intake.

got back to the gym last night. It felt great!
did 20 min of cardio on the bike. HR high 140's. 115 calories. Followed by chest/back/shoulders workout.
Moved up on the weight I am using when doing flyes. That felt good.

I skipped cardio yesterday because my calves were sore. But tonight after work I plan to get right back on it.
