I had a wonderful weekend! Diet-wise...it was lousy, but with good reason, I think. My anniversary was this past Thursday and my in-laws kept our two boys Friday night and all day Saturday so my husband and I could have the weekend to ourselves. We went to dinner Friday and came home and watched movies with no interruptions. Then we went to Hendersonville, Saturday morning and shopped and walked and talked. It was soooooooooooo nice! But, yesterday morning I got right back on track and didn't beat myself up over my choices...so here we go again!

I have been very good for the past couple of days. I have been walking in the mornings, staying busy around the house and sticking to my diet and it has paid off. I have lost three pounds from my start weight. You would think that this would make me very excited, however I am torn. My husband and I have been talking about having another baby. We have two boys and I have always had a small desire to try once more for a girl, but about two months ago the desire became much stronger and has only been growing. I know there is no guarantee that I will have a girl but I would be equally happy with another little boy. This has thrown a wrench in my diet ideas though, because the approach that I am trying is not a healthy plan for a pregnant woman, at least not until the "maintenance" phase.
So, I don't know if I should put off pregnancy until I reach that phase, hoping to lay a strong foundation for healthy eating and consistent exercise, or if I should just attempt to go straight into the "maintenance" phase so we can really start trying.
Anybody have any opinions?
