Do you give yourself rewards for achieving your goals? I'm thinking of incorporating that and looking for ideas.

So today I calculated how long it would take me to lose all this weight if I did it in the recommended rate. My first reaction was to try expedite the process. But then I realised that would make me miserable and lead to definite failure. That made me sad because I cannot imagine being consistent for that long. Then I had a different thought, what if it takes me longer but I still make progress? isn't that better than what I've experienced over the last several years? Progress is still progress. So yeah, I'm still a bit down but I now have the mindset that this is a long-term journey and it will take as long as it takes. I will definately be building lifelong habits for sure.

Just tried apple and peanut butter for the first time. It a no from me. Disclaimer the peanut butter is sugar and salt free. Not sure if that makes a difference.
