So I think that I am getting better at balancing living real life with eating better. I started using my fitbit three weeks ago and I use that to track my calories. I think it is way more accurate - fatsecret seems to overestimate calories burned.
For those of you that track your food in FatSecret and everything else in Fitbit - I just made a food container of 100 calories in fitbit and at the end of the day I just add one food container for a total number of calories. That allows me to use the graphing function for calories in/calories out.
I'm happy to say I still lost weight this last week while going out to a concert, drinking wine several nights but otherwise making better decisions on what to order!
BTW - my favorite low calorie snack lately are these fab green olives - can't they make low-sodium olives - LOL!!!!!

Last week was horrible - dinner out with wine, 3 all day meetings with events after. It killed my normal workout routine and also made it very hard to eat within calorie limits. I am fairly sure that the weight gain is water retention from the wine consumed but will not better next week :-(

I got my fitbit this week and think that my calorie tracking will be more accurate now. Love how it tracks sleep and how many times I am woken up by the dogs or husband snoring. Not as much as I thought! What I have found is that the exercise tracking on this seems like higher calories than what I appear to be burning on fitbit - so now going with fitbit for calories burned but sticking with fatsecret for food tracking (fitbits food tracking is kind of lame in comparison)
Anyway - I'm happy to have lost some weight. Have yet to take my measurements but I can see the difference.

OK - I am totally thrown for a loop today. After my weigh in, where I lost nothing - not even an ounce, I decided to look up my body fat. I have a scale that measures weight, body fat % and water %. It says that I am 181.6, 20% body fat and 53% water. Me thinks my scale is screwed up because when I went to look up healthy body fat %, I am within healthy - but there is NO WAY I should be the weight I am if that is true.
ARGH!
Also I am struggling with my emotional eating - had a family issue this weekend, then not to lose anything, so depressing - the little two year old in me wants to go downstairs and pig out (the adult inside is winning so far) :-(

Depressing weigh in because I know I've gotten smaller. I'm going to measure along with weight so that I have something to be happy about! I'm pretty sure that since I put on muscle quickly that this is what happened this week. Either that or I'm going to only be able to intake 800 calories a day - LOL!
