37 year old mother of 3 & work a very demanding schedule. In april 2010 i realised i had to loose weigh i had went to the dr and was topping the scales at 210 lbs (20 lbs more than i weighed 9 mo prego) I started out slowly walking a couple a miles once or twice a week and watchimg what i ate trying to keep under 1200 calories i was very suprised and please when i had lost 31 lbs by october due to work schedule it was impossible to stick to a diet so i was careful to maintain my weight loss till January. since them when i restarted after the new years holiday I have lost 27.5 more lbs and i am almost at my original goal of 145. I make sure i stay below 1200 calories atleast 6 days a week and do not deny myself foods just limit the amount of them. I did cut out sugar and switch to splenda for cooking /baking/tea making purposes in march i drink no sodas (never did though)and hav switched to mostly fresh or frozen veggies not canned whole wheat pastas and limited bread (use sandwich rounds) also use sea salt to cook. i am now walking 3 days a week and jogging 2 days so i have slowly upped my exercise routine. when i meet my weight loss goal i plan on joining a gym to tone up more and i am almost there! Believe me it's not easy it's a whole lifestyle change! but it is well worth it i am healthier and more energetic than i have been in 8 years i feel and look better. If i can do this then anyone can!!! I have never been the most motivated individual but I decided i wanted a change and i did it!
