I got to 248 lbs and lost of few pounds before we went to a group meeting to see about the operation to remove a large part of you tummy. Then 2 weeks late we,(my husband and I), met with the doctor. He told me I wasn't a good candidate for the operation. He wouldn't do it all. But then he told us if I lost 25 to 30 pounds he might rethink it. My first weight was right after seeing the Dr. and I was down to 237.21 on Sept 18, 2014 and again on Oct 6, 2014 I was at 230,21. Today on my scale I was at 221.8. That is about 26 pounds. I have been weighing and writing, time, date, what, portion in ounces, calories and protein. The doctor what me at 1200 Calories and 65 grams of protein. I have had a hard time getting the calories intake. most of the time I don't even get to 1000. The protein hasn't be to far off. I was thin most of my life. After I about 50 to 52 Yrs old I started put the weight on and I didn't stop. Was no longer working a full time job, chase kids, just not doing to much of anything. Then I found junk food and ate a lot of it. No junk food of any kind now. Never was a pop drinking. I do drink a lot of water and hot decaff tea.
