Another small drop. I'm okay with that.
I some how managed to pick up a rash on my hand. I didn't want it to bother me while I am in Vegas, so I went to the dermatologist. Had her look at a small sore on my lip while I was there. Good thing I did. Turns out it's a basal cell carcinoma. Her recommendation is to treat it with laser. It will take approximately 15 treatments. Or I can just have it cut out. I am already a cancer survivor and did not enjoy that go around. This is a far different situation and regardless which treatment route I chose, it will be a walk in the park.
We leave for Vegas in a few days and I haven't done a thing to get ready. So unlike me.
Hope everyone remembered to spring forward last night.

I am finally feeling better. I need to start running totals for the accountant. I'm hoping we don't need to ask for an extension.
I ordered several plants for my flower gardens. I'm going to buy several stock tanks to use as planters. I want to put one on each side of driveway. Echinacea, lily of the Nile and my peonies should do well there. I need to get strawberry plants as our patch is no longer producing. I don't know why I thinking gardens. We just got 2more inches of snow last night.
Even though I was sick, did lose almost a full pound. Has anyone tried Cotton Candy grapes? They are delicious.

I've been sick for over a week with some respiratory bug. Not Covid as I tested myself. I thought I was feeling better so went to Costco. I was so short of breath I could barely walk through the store. I try not to start coughing. Because once I start, it's vert difficult to stop. So I haven't weighed myself.

I'm inching downward. I wish I could lose faster, but am glad for any loss.
I am thankful the cold snap has moved on. Things are pretty much back to normal. All vehicles are running and the drain field for the septic has thawed. Saw my nephrologist and my labs and KUB look good. He was called out for an emergency surgery so I had to wait over 90 minutes to see him. I was telling the nurse I was leaving and he could call me with the results when he walked in. Because this appointment took so long, I didn't go to TJ Maxx or Hobby Lobby. It was getting dark and with my eye, I just don't want to drive at dusk. I'll see if I can go into town today. I have to start Valentine's cards for the boys and grandkids. Valentine's Day is also our 40th anniversary.

The cold is causing so much trouble. Vehicles won't start even though they are plugged in. We went into town for a battery for hubby's truck. There were none to be found. The guy at Costco said he sold 3 months worth of batteries in 2 days. I must have hit the battery pack to my heated jacket when I was chopping ice out of the creek because it no longer heats up. I ordered another one immediately. I need my heated jacket! Those bulls better appreciate my sacrifice.
Hubby came in from his 2am herd check and the alarm to the septic was beeping. Just what we need.
Thankfully it is supposed to warm up.
