Dear lord has it really been 200 days since I posted on here?
I haven't fallen off the face of the planet, I swear. I got a new job and my life has been so hectic that I just haven't had any chances to update.

To let you all know, I'm 1-2lbs from goal. I've modified my diet. LCHF was making me lose my hair, so I've reintroduced some starches, plain greek yogurt, some fruits... I'm also on the Calories in Calories out method as well as eating things that provide nutrients to my body! I'm still very sugar conscience, but just not to the extreme anymore. My hair is coming back in now and I have been off Atkins since July :)

On the bright side my personal trainer has inspired me so much that I'm actually seeing results. I know, I can't believe my eyes either at this comparison!

Losing the lower tummy!

I almost got abs!

And I even have some back muscle!

Today is just a journal, no weigh-ins because I'm still at 154.4 solid.

So to update everyone I managed to get my phone replaced for free! I'm so happy apple is great with honouring their warranty. Still haven't gotten to working out, so I just did a 30 min walk today and adjusted my eating in terms of calories and carb intake. Today I ate 15 Net and 900 calories. That should be enough to counter-act my inactiveness.

But seriously though, I just want to give a small amount of advice to those still actively losing too:
Dont sweat the small stuff. Really. Don't stress. Just eat right, don't obsess over food and your next meal. Don't make your world revolve around food. Don't jump on that addictive scale every day. It's been a hard lesson for me. As I'm approaching my weight loss goal I'm sweating it less and less, yes, the loss has slowed for me. Am I going to get obsessed over it? Nope. I looked in the mirror and had to remind myself, oh, look at the progress and where I came from... do I feel better? Yes. Do my clothes fit differently? Yes. Am I doing the right thing and following my diet plan? Yes.

If you have a bad day? Guess what! You can counteract that. Back to business the next day. I threw myself out of Ketosis 3 times in the past 5 months. The last time it took me two weeks to get back into it in full force. No big deal. You are human. You are imperfectly perfect. As long as you do your best, don't sweat all the small stuff. :)

I looked in the mirror on Sunday, and I was still expecting to see my 200lb self... instead I saw this. I'm a work in progress and always will be, but I'm on the right track :)

moral of the story and TL;DR, I need to clean my disgusting room. That is all!

Long story here, sorry for being so absent lately!
On Sunday last week I went out with my sister to get celebratory sushi. It threw me out of ketosis. Although I got back in the rhythm of things immediately the next day I've kind of flopped and stalled for three reasons:

1. I'm 16lbs away from my goal so the loss has significantly slowed down considering I'm becoming a lot leaner.
2. I had a flare up (You can guess for what... happens every time I drop significant weight) due to being constipated (hello coffee, my regular friend) and it's prevented me from being active and working out due to the pain.
3. I've been drinking an insane amount of liquids due to the constipation which has also caused me to start retaining water.

Well, at least I'm not gaining. I haven't done damage, and I'm so close to my goal that I'm not even discouraged. I'll keep doing the right thing. Thumbs up! In the meantime, coffee to stay regular, lots of water, MORE SALADS (jeez, you'd think I was a rabbit) and a slight increase in my caloric intake because 800-900 cal is not sustainable. I've bulked it to about 1100-1200 a day which probably also slowed the process down.
