I'm back... sorry I took off for a while there. Had some down time - healed up now, I'm still waiting to get back to the gym (got the no-go from the gym and my doctors... I'm allowed after the Labour day long weekend!)

Things were getting tough at home, my boyfriend is having some alcohol issues, and i was getting dragged down - so I started goin to Al-Anon meetings. They really are great. I think he's having a midlife crisis... and me being the one that wants things perfect was trying to control the situation. I learned I have to back off and let him do what he needs to do to realize he's harming not only himself but his family and hopefully realize he needs to take some steps to recovery. It's killing me seeing this - and I have to constantly remind myself not to get dragged down as well.

I finally also got my Allergy testing done. I am allergic to my pets. I found my dog a wonderful new home (boyfriend taking it the hardest - it was his first dog, but he also never cleaned up after her and refused me to bring her to the vet... she was locked up at home all day alone - and finally got him to come around to realize that we couldn't keep her). I need to find a home for my kitty. We've agreed to get some fish (nothing fancy). I'm also allergic to house dust, which explains a LOT!! I hated cleaning because I always broke out into rashes. I Used to joke around that I was allergic to cleaning - well I guess I wasn't that far off!!

I also found out I'm allergic to Wheat and Corn Pollens - so no farming for me.

The worst of it though is my allergy to Birch Pollen (why I randomly started swelling for a walk in May). The immunologist went over a HUGE list of food that may affect me due to this allergy. Which is basically EVERYTHING I eat! He said there's a good chance my "overnight 10 lbs water weight gain" is actually allergic reactions! He said I need to cut it all out - and start eating them slowly to see what I'm allergic to or not. There are a few I've always known I have had issues with e.g. Pineapple,Kiwi, Bananas, peaches, strawberries etc... if these are cooked, I have no problems. The list also includes tree nuts, peanuts, beans, carrots, peas, celery, tomatoes etc etc.

Now I'm looking at why I'm bruising with a simple touch and the bald spots on my head (hair falling out in alarming amounts).

Quit smoking and I fall apart :(

Anways, I'll try getting back into the groove of recording of everything I eat.

Got to gym yesterday... I was able to use Arc trainer and bike, couldn't comfortably use either the elliptical or treadmill. No problems with weights.

Going to doctors tonight for xrays... I'm suspecting stress fracture in one of my metasarsals on the top of my foot (hence the pain and swelling). I've broken one before (from trauma though) about 4 years ago, and walked on it for 2 months before realizing it was broken. I'm feeling the same itchy/pain now :( The stress fracture was suggested by one of the personal trainers at the gym - and it makes sense to me due to my past experience.

If it is a break and I need to wear "the boot", I'm not going to let that stop me from going to the gym - I just have to sign a waiver saying if I'm injured further, they are not held responsible - and that it was my choice to continue working out regardless of my injury (as well as showing me what excercises will work for me until I heal).

I swear... someone doesn't want me to go to the gym... I literally JUST walked into the gym last night and got a call to rush home. My mom wasn't feeling good (she was watching my little guy while I went to the gym) and wanted to go home. *sigh*

So figured I'd go today after work, but boyfriend needs me to watch our son while he mows the lawn while we have a spot of nice weather before he has to head out of town for work tomorrow... THEN we have to put our new bed together.

So okay Tomorrow... no sitters available to watch my 2year old (he hates the daycare at the gym, or else I'd bring him there... good deal $4 for 2 hours.. if he would last more than 5 minutes it would be awesome) GAAH!

If only my sitter was willing to watch the monkey at 5 in the morning so I could go to the gym then it would rock!... ya right.

Good morning and happy monday (blah lol)

I had an interesting weekend. Ended up having to call 911 due to half of my neighbors 50' tree falling on a power line in front of my house (and on my vehicles) yesterday. So I had 8 firemen and 2 electrical company workers crowded on my lawn and in the street to take care of the situation. They cut the tree down, and cleaned up my lawn by throwing every branch and leaf on THEIR lawn hehehe.

Luckily my truck or van weren't damaged, just a little scratched (they're old and junky anyways).

Anyways still bloated over weekend so been drinking tons of water and keeping my feet up (doc's orders) My feet are still sore, but not as bad as last week so hoping I can get to the gym today. May have to just bike it (instead of arc trainer/elliptical) and do weights that won't put stress of my feet (crunch/plank machine etc).

Doc said if my bloating still doesn't go down, then to try raw ACV and green tea (gentle diuretics) to see if they help.
