losing 2.0 lb a week

Today we took my sister's friend to the airport so there was a lot of eating out. There has actually been a large amount of opprotunities to eat out lately... BUT on my own I am not eating out nearly as often as I used to. I used to eat out everyday! It is a hard habit to break. On another note I have gone 6 days without pop!!!! I haven't done that in a year or more! I was also able to lift a large bag of potatoes (50 pounds) without feeling winded or sore - working out is helping! I also walked the whole day around town without getting winded. Keep giving me small victories like this please! Back to the gym tomorrow :)

Pros and cons to having a lot of weight to lose...
Pros: You lose it really fast when you are serious about it!
Cons: The forty dollar yoga pants you bought a week ago to inspire yourself to work out are almost falling off :'( ... and you are a poor student lol

YEAH! It pays to be consistent. I feel much better health-wise. I also feel eating better and exercise is really important for caring for my bipolar disorder. I worked in a strict exercise schedule. I only have one class right now so I am devoting the rest of my time to getting healthy!

I have been overweight for much too long and it is time for a change. I am sick of getting out of breath going up stairs and being unable to wear the clothes I want.
I used to be in great shape but a few years ago I became extremely ill with bipolar disorder. It destroyed my life and the medication for it made me gain 100 pounds in 11 months. Since then I have gotten back on track and reclaimed my former self... except my body! It is the last thing bipolar disorder took from me that I have yet to reclaim - this fight is personal and I refuse to back down!
