Kind of surprised at the drop. I am eating about 200 more calories a day. Doing water aerobics 3 days a week and lifting 2 days a week. Trying to be more active at home. Notice trying, some days better than others. Still logging food, just maybe not as exact measurements.
Dr. says she's happy with weight 7# ago. I am in my smallest clothes from pre-super fat. They are Large (14-16). I am the smallest I have been in 49 years, since I got married.

I am trying to build strength and firm up the muscles. Just discovered that I I have abs last week. LOL.
I feel like the number on the scale is not important right now as long as it isn't going up. Building strength and 40 something mobility is the current focus. Pretty lofty goals for my almost 66 year old body. Oh well, life without goals is like a road trip without a map!

Been feeling better, finally! Still not 100%, but it's time to get going. Haven't felt this crappy since my round of Covid in 2020. Stomach still not so happy with me but no more time to baby it.
Hubby, 2 SIL and grandson are residing youngest daughter and SIL's house with steel siding this 3 day weekend. Of course today was our first day of 100°+. Tomorrow is only supposed to be mid 90s. Not so much improvement, but have to be thankful for any respite. Youngest daughter and I are cooking and keeping them hydrated.
Tomorrow the girls and I are going to the cemeteries to decorate graves of family members who have passed. It's a little hard to realize that at my youngest Granddaughter's age I was doing this with my grandmother and mother. Now I am the elder and they have pass on.

Let's all remember that our Freedom has come at High Cost. Thanks to all who sacrificed and those who continue to Serve! FREEDOM IS NOT FREE, SOMEONE PAID!
BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL!

I'm happy for the weight loss. I am in a place right now, where I'm really trying not to be number oriented. This is a new space for me. I know I'm building muscle and there's more inflammation. I'm just weighing to be sure I don't backslide. I started lifting very cautiously with a trainer last week. It's 2 days a week. I also started water Aerobics last week. It's 3 days a week. I really like the lifting. It feels good to be working back into it. The water Aerobics is more challenging than I expected, maybe because I am not there for the social hour or the cake.

My allergies issues turned into a sinus infection and hacking cough so I missed 2 sessions of WA. Feeling enough better to go again now. Didn't miss out on the lifting. Replaced 1 day of WA with a 3.5 mile walk in 30-40 mph wind. May not the brightest choice. Just Needed to prove to myself that I could do it.

Hubby's family Reunion was this past Saturday. Lots of cooking and traveling, not enough sleep. Good to see everyone. Glad to be home and getting back into a routine.

Lipid Panel came back good. Total 167, HDL is 70. Kidney #s have improved. Now the not so good. One set of numbers indicates that this could be something more serious. I also have have a cyst and a small unidentified lesion on my left kidney and my right kidney appeared small on the sonogram. MRI on Friday and Nephrologist appt. the 3rd. Hopefully I will get more concrete info.

Sorry this is so long, and I have been out of touch with all of you! I popped in to check on your journeys, but my head wasn't in the game. Please know that I am still praying for you and your success. Your posts lift me up. I will try to get back in touch this week. Just alot of uncertainty in my world.

Blessings on your journeys and your families!
Through God all things are possible.
