Healthy Diet Picks at Large Restaurant Chains
I'm new here and haven't yet seen a group or forum for exchanging ideas on what to order at large restaurant chains for those of us who have to eat at them for business or club meetings. I'd like to start off with a question about Panera's: anything they serve that's good or better? Smile

NYTimes article about the evolutionary drive to consume as much fat as possible
One interesting point in that article was that northern Europeans developed more taste for fat and alcohol because of their advantages in cold winters. Over all, though, the article was just an interesting historical tidbit, without much relevance to anyone here on FatSecret. We're no longer stone age hunter-gatherers as far as our food needs are concerned.

Nothing to do with diet..Just curious if you do your towels last..
I do all whites last because otherwise I get bleach stains on coloreds done afterwards. Yeah, it's probably the washer, an old Whirlpool, but things work fine if the whites are last.

My hungry switch is broken...
I'm with ninjapanda and gnat824: stick with the 20-minute rule. My own hungry switch has never been broken, but it still takes me twenty minutes after I've stopped eating in order to "lose" that hunger. If you focus on the 20-minute rule, you'll be amazed at how little you can eat to get your "hungry" switched off in 20 minutes.
