When I was very young and helped my Mama do laundry
in a wringer washer..she always did the towels last so
not to get the lint from them on the other clothes..
I find my self still doing this..LOL Just a habit from
years gone by...You didn't have such a thing as a dryer
to take the lint away then..Laughing

I do the towels last because they take longer in the dryer than the next load of clothes would take in the washer. That's all!

I only do two loads a week, and since we have to pay for each load I do socks, jeans and towels together. If I have to use the same machine I would probably do them first, but that is from the practical reason that they take longer to dry and I would want to get them started before the quicker to dry items like t-shirts...

Yeah we don't use the dryer, personally I don't like my towels to be that fluffy, but I am weird like that.

I find that, each week, when it is time to do laundry, the things we need the most are pants and work clothes. We usually have more clean towels left in the closet, so towels are low priority.

I don't know how I found this post but it's super funny. I never thought about this, but I always do my towels first because it's the easiest load to find, then fold and put away. This makes the rest of my laundry seem smaller!

I've never heard of such a thing.

However, I don't do laundry in any particular order. In fact, I don't usually do laundry in one fell swoop-- I just toss in a load whenever I need to.

Being the totally unorganized person that I am, I wash towels only when the bathroom hamper becomes full (fortunately this happens before we run out of towels).

Towel load first---it is no problem if it sits in the dryer.
You can get there from here.

LOL I wash my towels last unless the loads aren't big enough and then I mix it all together. I dunno why I do them last but I do remember even my mom and gma having wringer washing machines...I got my fingers stuck between the rollers one time and I damn near broke my hand! I was young, maybe 4?

So that's why I always have lint all over everything!

I do towels last because (most of mine are white) I bleach them; if your last load for a while is bleach-y, then supposedly you're less likely to get mildewy crud in that little bit of moisture left behind in your closed-up washer.

Who knows if that's true, but it's enough reason for me!

I do towels last because they can sit in the dryer a day or two before I may get to them to fold.

I do all whites last because otherwise I get bleach stains on coloreds done afterwards. Yeah, it's probably the washer, an old Whirlpool, but things work fine if the whites are last.

My towels are last. There aren't in demand and I can leave them sit for a little while before I fold them.
I'm thinner today than I was yesterday but not as thin as I will be tomorrow. One day at a time.

I'm with Hoser.... Just chuck a load in whenever there's enough for a machine full - don't tumble my towels, I like to hang them out in the fresh air - makes them smell nice - except during winter when it's raining, may tumble then. Never thought I would be posting about this subject lol

Weight Gain?
Maybe switch it up a bit. There are different things to do. Have a off keto day, Eat high calories, and then later do some fasting.

I stay pretty steady since being on maintenance for a number of years. I tend to track occasionally just as check up on myself.
