I'm a 44 year old father of three. I work on networks and computer systems so I basically sit for a living.

Over the years, I've slowly grown and as each milestone passed (250, 275, 300...) I would think, "I've got to do something about this. At least I'm not 325 (or 350, 375, etc.)"

I had lost quite a bit a year ago with the help of fatsecret.com but I let a new job last summer distract me. Now it's time to get back on track.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I've wondered that too. According to what I've found I am only burning a bit over 1000 calories sleeping. I'm guessing that most of the weight loss is water. I'm sure going 8+ hours without drinking would result in a fair amount. Plus, I don't know about you but I always go to the bathroom first before weight in too. Smile
