I ate today. :) Didn't log it but it was all low carb/keto friendly. I made it 5 days and 10 hours fasting. Tomorrow is still throw it out the window day and I can't wait. It's also known as my son Jamie's birthday.

We did a grocery pickup, came home and then went back out to the oriental market. I got my Maggi and dried mushrooms (much cheaper there than amazon or the regular store if they even have them) We grabbed lunch for the boy and hubby and also grabbed my roasted duck for dinner. It was so yummy. I even ate a few pieces with lunch. I think one more cup of coffee and I'm done for the night.

I did find something new in the store today (new to me) a keto friendly duncan hines cake thing for one. 5 net carbs. That may be good for a few upcoming things where I don't what to give up dessert when everyone else is eating it. We don't normally have desserts at home but we are planning things with his family soon and they do.

Went to the gym today and I forgot my phone so no music working out. I find myself working out harder with music so it wasn't as good as normal. Oops.
Not much going on here otherwise. Tomorrow will be a jam packed day. Happy 19th birthday James!!!!

I am so tired today. Work up, did some dishes, gardened some, went to gym, gardened some more. I didn't sleep that well and I can feel it today. Yesterday I decided to see if the red light actually helped or if it was just whatever. It really does help since my back started doing the spasm thing last night. Today was lazy day so just treadmill for a little bit (only did treadmill for 15 minutes) and then the red light. I feel a little better but not all the way back yet.
Almost 117 hours fasted. I can eat tomorrow. :) I could eat sooner but I'm choosing to fast.
GKI this morning was 1.4. GKI right now is 1.0. Finally got it down to 1. Maybe it was the cup of green tea I added. I'm about to have another one soon. It wasn't too bad even if I do prefer coffee. I usually only drink it plain while eating Chinese food. They go together and I can drink a whole pot then.
Tomorrow will be a busy day for me. Lots of errands and then the gym. Workout day and not lazy day. Sauerkraut for breakfast here I come.

Gym today, workout day and not the treadmill. I was talking to a woman I saw in the gym a lot. How do I put this? She has the best butt ever (not sexual for me, it's my dream butt for me to have) so I asked about her workouts for it. She was super helpful and took it the way I meant the compliment I gave her. Thank goodness. She also volunteered to help me with some exercises if I need the help. She was the biggest sweetheart. I thanked her and she thanked me for the compliment. Because we talked so long I skipped the red light therapy. I'm going to see if there's a difference. (Yes, there is. Muscles are sore more than normal.)

Still fasting. 88+ hours in. I'm feeling bloated today. I need to stop the fasting coffee. So starting today it will be 1 cup of coffee per day max. I got my gallon of pickle juice in but I'm holding off on opening yet. The fridge is a little filled with hubby and kid's food right now. I need to clean it out/ organize it. I know that in will be safe in the fridge. Hubby and kid both don't like pickles. :)

On Friday I decided I'm going to run to to the local Oriental market. I think roasted duck for dinner sounds great. Low carb and a little fatty. I need to grab a few things there so yay, duck. I don't eat all week so I no longer mind spending slightly more for something special. It cost a little more than chicken but not really that much more. I'll have to skip the sauce they include. I can't go crazy on the duck because they marinate it with a sugar based sauce also. Just thinking about it is starting to make me hungry.

GKI was 2.2 this morning. After working out it's 1.6. (Also had my coffee before the gym)

Went and voted today. Our normal voting place had their hotdogs again. I did take one but per tradition my son got mine. He had 2 and they asked if he wanted another. Proud momma here, it was the first time he voted. Went to the gym after voting and today was lazy day there. Just the treadmill and red light therapy. Tomorrow is workout hard day. 3 days of that and 2 cardio days a week.

I had posted a journal yesterday but somehow I wiped it out. I did get a new watch but I'm not sure about it. It feels so much lighter than my last one and feels cheaper. My Gear S3 was a metal casing and not plastic. Ugh, I wish that was my biggest problem in my life but hey life.

Fasting is really working for me and I lost 5.3 lbs last week. I really don't feel hungry except the first 2 days and then it's not bad. Even the first 2 days aren't horrible. I've still been working out 5 days a week and may hit the wall sooner but I recover quicker. I'm 64ish hours in, 67ish hours left. As long as I have my coffee all is good. I'm still following Dr. Fung's fasting liquids. GKI this morning was 2.1, it's now 1.5 after coffee. So it's improving. I can get it under 1 but only without the coffee so no. I was planning longer fasts, 10 days + but 5 days is working and I feel fine doing that. My hubby is less concerned than if I was doing longer fasts but he still keeps an eye on me. :) Friday is refeed day and Saturday is throw it all out the window day and celebrates my anniversary and also my son's birthday. Also known as treat day. Things are planned and it will be not great eating. Sunday will start my next week's fast and my woe will be keto the next eating days.
