For the past two weeks I have stayed the same weight. I have been on the run too besides trying to do my power walks and between going to hospital to see my husband who had by-pass surgery. Keeping up with bowling on two leagues and doing 2 Bible studies. This morning has the first morning since I guess in about 2 weeks I just sat here at my computer posting here. But plus side is my cloths are getting big on me so with the exercise I have been doing maybe I am toning up muscle. Been having this problem with my neck hurting since before mothers day. My pc sent me to an neck & spine some degeneration but nothing that would be causing pain. Pain also goes down arm to the point of not being able to lift it so they are sending my to have shoulder evaluated. Being in the 50 not quite 60 club stinks when it comes to pain. Though since starting my exercises I have gotten stronger. My neighbor down the street says I look good, I tell her " Miss Liz I'm working my butt off and when I sit on the couch at night to watch some tv I'm like oh I hurt!" Then I'm back up the next day doing it again. Was nice chatting everyone. Have a great day and KEEP GETTING IT & KEEP MOVING!!

Slowly but surely the weight is going down. 144 pounds. 14 more pounds to get to 130 I will be happy, but I want to get to 120. Ok, I will settle on 125 as an ideal weight though! I have upped my walking to 30 minutes twice a day. One of my walks I am moving my hips and arms. Trying to give the muscles a work out. I started doing jumping jacks, squats, and pushups against the wall before I sit down with my coffee. When I started the jumping jacks I could barely do 10 now I am up to 30. Not sure if I am going to do more than that maybe to 50 just want to keep my strength up. So true when they say just sitting around you get weak. I watched my Mother do that until she needed help to get out of the chair, walk across the room, get dressed all the things she should have been doing for herself. I understand she had pain, I know because I have pain but I also feel good too. Strange as that sounds. So I say to all who are trying to lose keep getting it! Remember if you slip up, get back on track. Slip ups doesn't mean STOP! Get back in the game. Heck I stopped for 2 months but I am back doing it again. There is no time line to get healthy. As one of the songs I listen to when I walk says "If you can't walk crawl but Just Keep Moving!" Sometimes you have to crawl to walk but your still moving. I miss my Mother and it broke my heart to see her become like that. So I have determined I'm not.
