Starting all over again because I really dropped the ball this last time. I'm also going to do more of my own charts and spreadsheets just to help motivate me to stick with this. I also plan on trying different diets at different times to self-experiment on which works best. Here goes January with just a basic calorie cut and increase in exercise.

I've been SOOOOO hungry the last couple of days! It's been agony trying to keep my calorie count down (and I still haven't been doing that well). I did order an exercise DVD, though, and I'm hoping a little workout every weekend and several days a week will help. It won't be here for at least a week, but oh well. I hope for a chance to make some healthier foods this weekend.

I'm surprised my legs are so sore. I really didn't do much, if anything extra last night. Maybe that 1 hour of standing got me more than I realized. Or maybe I underestimated how much I walked or how long I did my housework. Regardless, my legs hurt today.

I really hope I can get back on track, but it's been so difficult! I can't use moving as an excuse any longer because I have my pots and pans now. I just need to actually use them! I have a lot of things I want to make, but I just need to get around to making them.. That, and I've been drinking a LOT of beer. I should probably work on cutting back on that even more than exercising more.

I just started using the exercise diary today. I added exercise for Saturday, but I didn't bother for any other days. I didn't realize the exercise journal was for everyday activities in addition to actual, planned exercise. Maybe I don't do as bad as I think when it comes to fitness, I just manage to get a lot of my exercise from general activities. That's not to say I don't need to work at it more and that I don't need to add cardio, but at least I have a good place to start and at least I get some exercise already.
