I have been eating pretty well for the most part. I've been craving flavorful foods. I've found that if I have one or two little things from the kids parade candy, I feel less deprived. I try to pick a little roll of smarties or a small pack of skittles that only has like 15 pieces. Now I just need to get the motivation to walking. I miss my lake path, and it's hard to get excited about walking in town after you're used to the beauty of a nice country walk. Now if it would just stop raining!

I'm just happy that I didn't GAIN this weekend. I have been gaining every weekend that I work, so I think this is a first.
I haven't walked since Friday. It rained all weekend. The path around the lake where I walk is a mess. I can't even get to it because of the flood damage. One of the foot bridges on the path is gone. Another foot bridge nearby had a camper washed into it. There is mud and debris everywhere. Although our home and neighborhood survived the flooding with only minimal problems, I was very sad to see my favorite place ruined. I've volunteered to help with cleanup, which will be good exercise in itself. But cleanup won't start until it dries out, which will probably be next week. We're expecting rain through wednesday.

It amazes me how having my period will make me crave every richly flavored unhealthy food. I think I had gained about 6 pounds and now I'm back down. It's weird how a week and a half can have such a huge weight fluctuation. Oh, well...back to losing weight :)
I just noticed...I got my orange bar. YAY!!!

I love that I'm still losing weight now that I'm in the Healthy Lifestyle Phase. I'm eating pretty much what I want and walking daily. I thought that it would really be a struggle once I started eating grains again, but it hasn't been bad. YAY!!!
