Last week I joined my first gym ever!!! It's pretty exciting to be able to go out at 7, 8 or 9pm and exercise. I've always been a nite owl & feel much better exercising in the evenings but w/o a home gym, I was not able to do it unless I had a partner to walk with in the evenings (I don't feel comfortable going out in the late evenings for a walk by myself).
Well, the gym thing is working for me. I'm def burning more calories than I would, going for an evening walk. I got my membership last Tuesday & have been almost everyday since. There were 3 days I didn't go. Saturday was just too busy for me & Sunday my family & I went on a hike. Monday my ankle was a lil sore from a hole I stepped in on the hike, but I was back at it again yesterday. I've also made plans with a friend to go together tonite, nothing like a lil support!!!
These last couple of weeks I've had my highs and my lows. I'm very happy that I'm still making progress. :0) My next small goal is to get away from 219lbs, as I've been toggling back-and-forth from 224lbs and 219lbs. 210 here I come!!!
