13 weeks and 41.8 pounds. I'm happy! Sure, it's not Biggest Loser sized numbers, but I haven't been putting in BL style workouts either! In fact, I've been doing hardly any working out in the past month & a half.

In addition to the pounds lost, my blood pressure is completely controlled by diet now. Last summer I had multiple readings in the 150/110 range. I went on medication but took myself off it in October or November when the freebies ran out. After only a month and a half on the diet, my numbers are consistently in the 125/83 range...controlled by diet alone!

I took advantage of a free cholesterol screening about 3 weeks ago. Having never had a cholesterol screening in the past, I didn't know what to expect. I was told that any # below 200 was good. I came in with a 164.

I know there are a lot of naysayers out there who aren't believers in Dr. Atkins' diet, but I think the health screening numbers speak for themselves. My blood pressure was dangerously high before doing Atkins...and with nothing but a change in diet, it's now in the normal area.

Plenty of pounds left to lose, but I couldn't be happier with my 3 month progress!
