Ok I am going to have to resort to drastic measures. I am now 147 lbs and miserable. Yes, I know that's not terribly heavy for my height (5'7") but I am DEAD SET on staying at my most comfy weight, which is 130 lbs.
I have done the calorie counting thing and to be honest it just isn't working this time around. Granted I HAVE cheated quite a bit the last few weeks but I am ready to buckle down and get hardcore! I have 17 lbs to lose and I want it gone ASAP!
Today I bought Jorge Cruise's book, The Belly Fat Cure and I am going to give it my best shot starting Monday! I am waiting until Monday becuase I cannot start anything mid week. LOL! It just feels "wrong".
So wish me luck! I am going to do my best!

The Belly Fat Cure plan centers on keeping insulin levels low by eating a balanced amount of sugar and carbohydrates. The plan involves eating no more than 15 grams of sugar and six portions of carbohydrates per day. Six portions of carbohydrates equates up to 120 grams of carbs per day. It focuses on reducing or eliminating processed carbohydrates like baked goods, white breads, candies and pastas, which can alter your natural hormone levels. Jorge promotes eating lean meats and good fats while cutting out milk and fruit drinks. The theory is that processed carbohydrates and sugars have a negative effect on the body's insulin production, causing fluctuations in blood sugar levels, stagnant belly fat and feelings of sluggishness.
