I feel SO motivated to get on track!!! I dug out my "Marathoning for Mortals" book by John Bingham and Jenny Hadfield and am re-reading it for the fourth time! I also decided which marathon to sign up for! I wanted to do the Salt Lake City again, but there is not a chance I will be ready by April 16th! I only wanted to run it again to see how much I could improve on my finish time. The Provo River Marathon will be a beautiful scenic run so that's the one I will be signing up for!!! PLUS it's in August so I will for sure be up to the mileage by then!!!
Last night my brother-in-law came over whom I adore! I usually feed him dinner because he is single and always starving!!! But, last night he brought "Wingers"..... GRrrrrrrrrrrr "Bad Curtis"! I told him everyone else could share the wings, but they were "OFF LIMITS" to me!!! It's funny how when you tell someone no thank you they seem to want to force it down your throat!!! LOL! He prodded and I told him I didn't run 3 miles on the treadmill to blow it with wings! :) !!! He finally understood, and it's lucky for me because I was almost to the breaking point!!!!
I'm so glad I didn't fall into the trap of those luscious wonderful wings!!! I stayed strong and didn't touch em'!!!
Today will be easier knowing I need to go home and run after work!!! Then, it's Tilapia and greens!!! XOXOXOXO!

THIS is the saddest weight I have EVER been. I ran the Salt Lake City marathon in 2009, and now I am so fat I can't run without my knees and feet hurting! I don't know what happened! My doctor is convinced it's partly due to me stopping my thyroid medication, but I think it's pure laziness and over eating! Urrrrgggghhhhh!
I grew up very small, and weight was never an issue. My highest weight in high school was around 110 lbs. NOW I am 57 lbs bigger!
I started to put on huge amounts of weight when I hit around 25 years old. I have 5 children, and NEVER weighed this much when I was 9 months pregnant!
I know what I need to do, and I have lost weight about 10 years ago by exercise (running), and eating right.
It's tough knowing how LONG this journey is going to be, but it's either now or never!!!
