Hi, nice to meet you all
Thanks all for your replies...I know i can and have to do this and after looking around on this site I find that it will be fun, I tried a similar site but they changed it and it got way to complicated to log food to create meals and keep in contact, so here I am and you will not get rid of me that fast,lol...
I am going on a mini vacation next week and hopefully I will have the willpower to be good, most of the time. But if not, then I will start again after I come back.
Had a good workout at the pool today, I love aqua aerobics and go 3-5 times a week. One more class tomorrow and I'll add some lap swimming as well. I was meant to be a fish,lol.

Hi, nice to meet you all
Well, yes, you have guessed, I am new here.
Have been on so many diets my whole adult life and still need to lose more...again...
Was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year in February and that was like a wake up call, saw the dietician, went to some classes and learned all about how to ditch the refined carbs.
I lost 60 pounds in 1 year.....and in the last 2 month I gained back 15 of it.
I just reached a point where I didn't give a Toot anymore and ate anything that wasn't nailed down, good stuff and bad stuff and way to much.
Last week I had blood work done and this Monday my doc called me to inform me that my blood sugar is really good but my cholesterol is through the roof at 348...HOLY COW...what am I doing to myself.
So, here I am, knowing that I can get back on track and get to my goal weight of 170(for now).
I am excited to start new again and hope to get some support from people that are in the same boat.
