I am in my mid 30's, I am an active dad, I play Music, coach my sons Baseball Team, volunteer fireman, and work in the construction industry. I have always been heavy, but I was recently featured on the front page of the local paper riding a fire truck next to Santa Clause in the Christmas Parade and I was actually bigger than Santa. I can just hear some kid looking at the paper asking his parent "Mommie, why is Santa riding the fire truck" and the mothers reply would be somthing like "Sweetie, its because that fat dude ate Rudolph"! I am tired all the time, and have diabetes and high blood pressure. My wife loves me no matter how big I am, but she is a thin woman and has to get embarased about being with me in public. I get sick when I look at myself wothout a shirt on in the mirror. We started a biggest looser at work yesterday, and I found this application on my Droid phone and think it will be quite helpful! 25% is my goal I am 268 and would like to get down to 200 in 25 weeks. that is 2.5 pounds a week, it is doable. I am concentrating on Calories and will attempt to loose by inpleminting a 1,500 calorie deficit a day...

How many times to eat a day
I am hearing that I should spread my calories through 5 or 6 meals a day. Hoe long does it take for your body to digest a small meal. Example when I have a 250 to 300 calorie meal. I am feeling hunger in 1.5 hours. id it ok to have a 50-60 calorie teaspoon of smart balance peanut butter, or a hand full of almonds or other nut that soon after I eat. I am going for a 1500 calorie deficit, but dont want to think of my diet as a starvation diet. I am used to eating around 1000 calories in a meal easily, as I have been a fast food junkie, so just trying to adjust to it.

FOODS TO AVOID
My weakness is any type of bread (Carb no-no), I am new to the site. I have had numerous attempts at dieting by watching my fats, carbs, etc. but never by counting calories or documenting what I do. If anyone has a healthy suggestion to loose 68 lbs in 25 weeks and still be able to have a little bread (my one food love) I would be greatful. Also please add me as a buddy and encourage me on this track.
