I'm an at home caregiver to an elderly aunt who has disabilities.
I recently was doing well on Weight Watchers until my doctor advised me to quit my second job (which was like a weekly 2 day holiday from my job at home!)due to health problems such as anxiety and depression. Being at home all the time coupled with the steriod medication I've been on due to eczema, I quickly regained the 15kg I had worked so hard over 2 years to loose. Now I'm back at the start and finding it very hard to get going again...I'm hoping to meet like minded souls who are in the middle of it or who have overcome it. I know I can do it, I've already proved that to myself...I just now have to DO it!

I'm Back
After a year I have finally been given the all clear to pursue my weight loss.
I am sticking with WW as it's the only thing that worked in the past, and I have a couple of friends who go with me.
I have a VERY LONGway to go, so I'm not getting to excited just yet.
Slow and steady wins the race, as they say!

can't get motivated
Get the vacum out, turn the stero up, and go for it. Its the little things that count too, like lifting shopping, housework, general walking. You don't have to do hours of sweaty gym work to be moving. You'll be surprised how much little movements you do a day.
Go for it!

Belly Fat!!!
Don't know if this will help you, but my doctor told me to lay off the bread (especially white bread) as it can bloat you. I stopped eating it for a month and noticed a difference. Belly didn't go flat but it did deflat a bit...lol
And you know that the place you want the weight to leave is the LAST place you'll loose it from!Rolling Eyes

Sleep
Hi all,
Is it true that lack of sleep can ruin your weight loss? I have suffered insomnia off and on for years and have it back in a big way right now. I think I recall reading in a magazine that you must get at least 8hrs sleep a night to help weight loss.
Anyone heard of this?Confused
