I don't really think I'm gonna use this site too much, as I think it's easier to follow my own spreadsheet when it comes to recording my own food intake. With that said, I think it'll be fun watching others progress. Go go you guys, I believe in you! ;)

Personally I've always had the belief that you shouldn't eat less if you wanted to be healthier (I love food), but rather eat as much as you feel like, and just exercise the needed amount after that, but for once in my life, I thought... Why not just give it a try, since I've always wanted to try have a six-pack... Yeah, that's pretty much it. Never felt bad about my weight or anything like that, just want to look better and be healthier to try if it's worth eating less for. :)

Learning to eat low-carb
Hermiones:
Well I agree in every way that it's bad for your health to drink it, but as far as I know, it shouldn't have any impact on losing weight or not (if you only account for what it contain, and not the possible effects these things can have on you, like making you crave more sugar). Smile

Learning to eat low-carb
Well if you follow a strict schedule, I personally don't see a problem with using diet coke, and the like. Personally I don't really like candy, high fat foods and the like, so I normally don't intake any sugars, or McD fore example...
I gotta admit though, I'm addicted to diet coke (think normal coke taste weird, since I grew up with a dieting mom, who bought diet, so don't drink non-diet either), so personally I'm not seeing any problems with it? :/

a lot more to go
Since you all kind of already ended the conversation I feel a little bad to continue it, but I would just like to say that there isn't really any 'unhealthy' foods, mostly just foods that's easy to eat to much of.
A example I like to use is water poisoning, which is achieved by drinking too much water, and causes your system a lack of salt, and can kill you.

I do agree on the whole abstinence thing, if it's really a drug to people, but in the end. If you get the 10-20% carbs from sugar, or other foods in a low carb diet doesn't really matter, as long it's the still only 10-20% of the whole day (and total under the calorie limit). Smile
