Jeez, did I fall off the no-sugar wagon. I ate 2 candy bars and a bag of gummy bears last week. That's just overly ridiculous. I've decided today, that I will forgo all cane/corn sugar for one month. I did it for almost a year...so, no cane/corn sugar until 7/11. And it's not that I'll just go crazy and start eating sweets on that date. I just want to detox for a month. I know if I can do it for a month, I can do it much longer.

And in other news...I started drinking caffeine again this week. It's such a busy work week and I really need to hyper focus to get all of my crap done that I need to get done - including working late hours. Being out of work for two weeks for my surgery has put me far behind and I'm stressing. Which is probably why I've been eating sweets this week. I like to eat sugary things as comfort food. OK, here I go to get my second cup of coffee here in a wee bit. It'll only be a half-caff.

Oh boy! Last night I really overate. I had two 6 oz burger patties and a bowl of cereal afterwards. YIKES! I wasn't even hungry or particularly craving food. But I was super tired. Yesterday was my first whole day back at work -- and I woke up early to go to hot yoga. I really wanted to get into bed as soon as I ate dinner (about 7:30), but my husband wanted to hang out in the living room and watch TV. Against my better judgement I stayed up until 10.

Noah's only got a couple more weeks of school left. That means that my workout schedule will change yet again. I'll be happy for it. I'll start going to the gym in the mornings again (on non-soccer days) and doing some hot yoga in the evenings. I'm still trying to figure out how my new schedule will workout. I want to hit the ground running (literally) when the school is no longer in.

Back to work today after the tonsillectomy and back to exercising. I went to Hot Yoga this morning and it felt good. Took it really easy though. Got quite dizzy a few times. It's crazy how quickly you become un-acclimated to the heat. It's my plan to go everyday this week.

Doing a good job tracking my points on WW. I'm really trying hard to make sure that I don't gain any weight now that I'm back on solid food.

I'm a little bummed that I don't have any soccer for the next 3 weeks. It will be a whole month+ when I finally get back to soccer. But this is a good thing because I pulled my groin the last time that I played soccer. A pulled groin isn't fun AT ALL. It will be good to let this have time to heal. Plus, I'll be able to concentrate on my running and getting back into the swing of things.

I'm only planning on walking briskly this afternoon. Don't want to kill myself the first week back from surgery.

On Sunday, my weight hit an all-time low. 152.6!!! Very happy about it. I had decided that I'd like to get my weight closer to 150 so that 155 would be my upper threshold. I'm going to take it really easy to lose down to 150. I hope to get there by the end of summer. See? Real slow and easy.
