I've been walking about 3 miles after work for about 3 days a week, it is at the time when gym class is so I don't sweat as much. I put on some bodyfat, I don't intend to get on the scale. I've been trying to eat what I think are healthy fats for the baby.

I've been drinking coffee since the past 17years. The first month when I didn't know I was pregnant I had a Venti Mocha. Once I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks I stopped drinking coffee for 2-3 months. Now when I have coffee it's mostly a cup of milk with a little bit it coffee once in the day, other than that I haven't been eating chocolate bars like before. I do have chocolate milk, chocolate granola w/regular milk, chocolate soft serve or milkshakes, chocolate whey grass fed protein powder, I have the first to in the sentence regularly as compared to the latter.

Now that I'm five months I feel my ab muscles splitting apart, I haven't done any ab exercises since I've known I was pregnant. I know my stomach will be growing bigger than it's ever been, so that I can have a healthy baby.

I'm trying to figure out how to get enough nutrients without dairy since I'm becoming lactose intolerant. I'm just going to copy and paste here

Calcium, Dairy-Free Foods

Bone broth adds ample minerals to the diet. Bones are chalk full of calcium. Making broth from those bones releases it.
Egg shells – Dry them and pulverize them, or add them to your soup.
Vitamin D aids in the absorption of calcium. You can get this from sunshine and cod liver oil.
Leafy greens:
Spinach, cooked – ½ cup, 125 mg
Bok Choy – ½ cup, 80 mg
Kale, cooked – ½ cup, 80 mg
Collard greens – ½ cup, 175 mg
Canned salmon with bones – 3 oz, 180mg
I have found that some canned salmon is toxic in some way. I can smell it in my pee. Raincoast salmon does not do this while the Whole Foods brand, which is a lot cheaper, does.
Nuts
Almonds – 1oz, 75mg
Brazil – 1 oz, 45mg
Macadamia – 1oz, 23mg
Oysters – 3oz, 80mg
Herbs and spices have lots of calcium – use liberally with meals.
Molasses – 1 tbsp, 40mg
Orange – 1 Large Florida, 64mg
Eggs – 2 eggs, 50mg

Yesterday, I went to a funeral for my cousin who was almost 57, which is a young age to go in my family. I found out that he had two clogged arteries and he didn't know that, but apparently there is a test that they can scan for that. What he did now is that he had slightly elevated cholesterol (said his wife.) He had been keeping a food journal, but he had stopped taking some medication for high cholesterol. His doctor had told him to exercise, but he wasn't. I have a colleague who is older and takes a medication daily and he said it is bad if he stopped taking the medication. Sometime back I had read a great book (which was required to read for a university fitness online class) called, Dr. Dean Ornish's Guide to Reversing Heart disease. I highly recommend that book to anyone with high blood pressure, high cholesterol or anyone wanting to keep their heart healthy and curious. It talks about alternatives to taking the medication.

I personally believe in nutrition and fitness myself. I try to eat healthy atleast 75% or more of what I eat. I might have a slightly different take on what is healthy sometimes. Such as I will eat ice cream and Gelato sometimes, but I try to avoid additives. It's dairy and that is a food group, although it's important to becareful with sugars. If it's from a container I try to check the serving size and try not to go over that at one time. Exercise is important for me as it helps regulate blood sugar. Even if it is just a walk, every bit counts. However exercise if not done carefully can be a hindrance if injuries are incurred. Alot of things in moderation.

Today I feel healthy..Sometimes when someone passes it reminds us to be grateful.

Yesterday when I went to the funeral, because he was a Marine they had a ceremony that is done and one part, while outside, they shoot 3 times, blanks, of to the side. Well, it was so loud my baby jumped 3 times, like a ping pong ball all over my uterus, because it was so loud. I felt bad and wondered if it is okay..

Sometimes people with dirt bikes ride through fields and the bikes are so loud. If there is a baby jack rabbit that hears it it might have a heart attack - because it is so loud and they are vulnerable.
